To make your gameplay seamless and avoid requiring compulsory accounts, ISHT stores game progress and settings directly on your device using your browser’s HTML5 LocalStorage. This includes:

• Buy the Earth: Current cash balance, owned assets, unlocked continents, and speedrun records.
• The Descent: Maximum depth reached and discovery milestones.
• The Judgment: Dilemma questions you have answered.
• Perfect Balance: Solved physics balance puzzles and high scores.
• The Button: Local click counts and achievement unlocks.
• Site Preferences: Dark mode / Light mode theme selection.

This data remains strictly on your own device and is never uploaded or sold to third parties. You can wipe this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

3. Third-Party Advertising & Cookies (AdSense & Ad Networks)

To keep ISHT free to play and cover server and development costs, we may display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense, Carbon Ads, or EthicalAds).

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.

When optional user accounts, sign-ins, or global multiplayer leaderboards are introduced on ISHT:

• Account Data: If you choose to create a player profile, we may store your chosen public handle/username, email address (for authentication and password recovery), and submitted high scores or speedrun times.
• Public Leaderboard Display: Your chosen player handle, achievement badges, and game scores will be publicly visible on ranking boards.
• Data Control & Deletion: You have full rights under GDPR and CCPA to request the export, modification, or complete deletion of your player profile and associated records by contacting us at any time.

5. Anonymous Telemetry & Server Logs

When you visit ISHT, our web server logs non-personally identifiable technical information to maintain performance, uptime, and security. This includes:

• Browser type and operating system family (Desktop, Mobile, or Tablet).
• General pageview counters and experience play frequency.
• Aggregated game counters (such as the global click count for The Button or percentage totals for The Judgment).

We do not log, store, or sell raw IP addresses or track individual visitors across the web.

6. Children’s Online Privacy (COPPA & Family Friendly)

ISHT features playful, scientific, and educational games suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
